A recently
completed pool, showing the work steps.
On
the left, the original pool, with brown coping and
tile. The owner asked for new tile, pool finish and an
acrylic finish for the deck.
Below is the finished pool.

The marcite finish in this pool, like most we work on, was
severely etched and stained. The finish was renewed with
Marquis and the cool deck given a new acrylic finish. Pool
tile more than about two years old is virtually impossible
to match, so any significant tile imperfection usually
requires a complete new tile placement. The first step is to
pull out the bad tiles and replace the old coping, then
place in new tile.

The original pool vacuum fitting had been cemented shut,
so a new vacuum fitting was installed and plumbed out to the
pump.
